More Fruit Teas!

A lot of my y'all wanted more fruit teas so here it is! I also really enjoy making and drinking these myself so let me know if I should continue this series!

I always ask what new recipes I should try on my Instagram so you can follow me there @lifewithtuyen. More tea recipes and baking recipes coming soon. Thanks for 200k followers on TikTok <3

  1. 1 cup of blueberries

  2. 1/4 cup sugar (preference)

  3. couple drops of lemon juice

  4. Tea Leaves (Any kind is fine)

To make the blueberry syrup, start by adding your berries into a pot with your sugar (up to you how much sugar you want to put in, doesn't really matter). Heat it up until it boils for a few minutes. Feel free to add in a few drops of lemon juice since this brightens the flavors! The mixture should be pretty liquidy at this point so you can mash the berries around to get more juices.

Take the syrup off the heat and strain the blueberry bits out. You can use the bits on toast, pancakes, anything you want— it's essentially just blueberry jam!

Brew your tea and let it cool. I used loose leaf Jasmine Green Tea from the Sunflower Brand but you can use any tea (black, white, green, etc.) you'd like.

Add in some ice and as much or as little of the blueberry syrup as you'd like, the world is yours!!

Note: I eyeballed everything.

IMPORTANT: I'm fortunate enough to be able to connect with everyone on here through baking and food but there are also many important issues going on that needs attention. Continue to learn, educate yourself, and grow.
