baby berry cloud bread

Cloud bread recently went viral on TikTok so I had to try it and make my own version!

Shout out to all my Instagram followers who helped me decide to make this cloud bread! It's super easy and fun to make. If you want to follow me and help me pick out the next desserts/drinks I make, my Instagram is @lifewithtuyen.


  • 2 egg whites (room temperature)

  • 2 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon corn starch

  • dash of strawberry extract (optional)

  • food coloring (optional)

NOTE: It's essentially just a 2:2:1 ratio of egg white, sugar, and corn starch so feel free to make as little or much as you'd like!

Separate your egg whites and egg yolk. Using room temperature egg whites will make the whipping process a lot easier. Whisk your whites until everything is frothy and bubbly— should be white-ish in color.

Once it reaches that stage, sprinkle in a third of your sugar and continue whipping until everything's dissolved (or should be around 1-2 minutes in between). Repeat until all your sugar is used and dissolved. It should be very fluffy at this point.

Next, add in your cornstarch. Using a sifter would make things easier to whip and dissolve but it's not necessary. Continue whisking until everything is light and fluffy— reaching the stiff peaks stage.

At this point, you can add in your extract and food coloring. I feel like this would be super fun to experiment with different colors and flavors! I just used strawberry extract and red food coloring.

Put into your oven at 300°F for around 25-30 minutes. Eat it while it's warm!! It tastes the best then.

REVIEW: Found the original recipe on TikTok and made some tiny adjustments but overall I thought it tasted alright— it was pretty eggy but it wasn't bad! It's also super soft and fluffy when you eat it warm. Some people really enjoyed it but others didn't really like it. Very fun to make and eat though!

I'm not sure who the original creator was that made this "viral" but I originally saw @linqanaaa's recipe on TikTok and based it off of that!
